Hello Darlings, Kathryn from Gun Shy here, the lovely lady that designs and handmakes all the fabulous things on this website. Thought I would let you know a little about the process and how best to get your ultimate faux fur dream jacket.

All the collections are up, even though some of them aren't available anymore due to fur availability. However, all these styles can be made in other fur options. They also can be a great source of inspiration for you when designing your dream jacket!

If you love a style, just buy it. After purchase, I will contact you personally to discuss details. Things like sizing, colours etc. If you are in Naarm, you can pop into my studio. If you are interstate or overseas, we can do the process via zoom. I have been doing this for years very successfully. I love getting to meet all my customers personally and this is a big part of why I run my small business.

If you are interested in a custom piece, read the different details in the Deluxe Custom section and contact me directly at gunshydesign@gmail.com. I have made all kinds of things for customers. So dream big!

Also note, even though styles are gendered, it doesn’t mean you can’t get it. Some styles are patterned made to suit the binary male/female body shape. However, if I have learnt anything in the years I have been doing Gun Shy, no one body is the same. All body shapes are unique and unbelievably beautiful. So don’t be limited in your choices, contact me directly and we can discuss what is possible.

You can also get in touch with me for lay-by’s. It’s old school but still a beautiful way to slowly get your dream jacket.
